De European Association for Mental Health in Intellectual Disability (EAMHID) organiseert haar 15de congres met als thema ‘Unleashing talent – Embracing diversity’. Dit gaat door op 18 september 2025 in Gent.

The Congress will be an important occasion for cooperation and exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of mental health in people with an intellectual disability, and it will provide numerous possibilities for all those people (academics, professionals, parents and individuals with a disability) to encounter and discuss mental health issues among persons with disabilities. The common goal is to increase knowledge and share best practices to improve life of people with intellectual disabilities.

Registration is now open, as it is the possibility to submit abstracts. We welcome abstracts related to intellectual disabilities and mental health, from researchers and practitioners but also from individuals with a disability or parents in co-productive way. Deadline for abstract submission is 01.03.2025.
